Our profile

The Institute disposes of expertise in the area of management of mobility programmes targeted to students, graduates and entrepreneurs, virtual learning communities, multimedia e-learning modules, (electronic) project management and quality assurance.
It has been member of working groups at the German Institute of Standardization and ISO, developing E-Learning Quality Standards. It is responsible for the Management of the OPEN-EYE Erasmus mobility for young entrepreneurs’ projects and runs together with the University Fulda the regional contact point for Erasmus-traineeships and university business cooperation.

The Institute, furthermore, runs online courses in its On-line Academy.
Those online courses form part of the learning environment of international traineeships. Thanks to instruments such as the online training the Erasmus and Leonardo mobility projects have received awards as “good practice projects” by the National Agencies BIBB and DAAD.
The Institute has been running the On-line Academy since 2007.
The On-line Academy offers training of intercultural, civic and entrepreneurial key skills to more than 200 mobile students and graduates (participants of Erasmus Traineeship mobility) per year.

The Institute has furthermore implemented an on-line coaching programme for mobile entrepreneurs (participants of the Erasmus for young entrepreneurs programme) and has run it since 2014.
European research and development projects such as Uni-Key, M-House and HoB have contributed to the further development of the academy.
